Our final Assembly during Neurodiversity Week was created by the P7s of Fyvie School on anxiety and mental health. We identified some of the feelings we may feel and how to deal with these such as reading, meditating and listening to music #feeling

Scottish Poetry Competition

Congratulations to all our children for learning and reciting poems at our annual Scottish Poetry Competition, you all did a fantastic job entertaining our families and friends. Well done to our winners and runners up so very difficult to judge #communicating #ConfidentIndividuals

Taking our Scottish poetry, singing and dancing to the residents of two local Care Homes as part of our Scottish Week celebrations is one of the most rewarding things we do all year. Always greeted with huge gratitude and at times very emotional #feeling #communicating #ConfidentIndividuals

Money Sense Workshops

Jill and Laura from the Royal Bank of Scotland in Fraserburgh supported Miss Mackie to deliver a workshop on financial education. We even learned how to save our parents some money whilst considering the environment! #sensemaking #communication #effectvecontributors 

Kicking off our Scots language week with an Assembly about Robert Burns, how we celebrate Burns Night, Burn’s songs to modern music and a Chatterpix to share our learning #feeling

This week is Anti-Bullying week. Our Assembly a particular focus on respect. We acted out respectful and disrespectful disagreements and made a Respect Web #integrity #feeling #Article29 

Guy Fawkes

At today’s Assembly Mrs Duncan told us the story of Guy Fawkes, we made a mentimetre on how we celebrate, and we learned some serious safety messages about fireworks and bonfires from the Scottish Fire Emergency Services. We are all prepared for the celebrations this weekend, keep safe everyone.
